Water-cooled engines, designed for conditions where air cooling is not effective or possible, are engines with increased power density (produced in smaller volumes) with effective cooling thanks to the water passing through the engine. Thanks to its small volumes, it is used in applications where limited space is reserved for the engine. Noise levels are approximately 20 dB lower than air-cooled engines. The main reason for this is that propellers are not used in water-cooled engines.
